Poster Final

Here is the final draft of my poster, I have moved the pictures at the bottom around to fit with the conventions of band posters.

Digipak Final

Here is the final version of my digipak, I changed the placing of all of the pictures. I added two discs instead of having a lyric book,  I also changed the font until I found one I felt comfortable with. I moved the logo to my front cover and found a good puddle shot to use as the back cover to put the text of. I also added effects to my discs by picking a random texture of the internet, I then messed around with the filter effects to change the colour of it so that it fit in with the rest of my digipak and genre. I reversed what I did to my main disc to the bonus one, so that they didn't look the same but still fit in with the genre. I used two different placed pictures of the band but edited them so that they both look dark and fit in. I also reused the puddle picture to put behind the discs instead of having it plain.

Poster attempt 2

Here is my Poster attempt 2, I have changed the colours of the stars and shrunk the size of the bottom images, I have also moved the date so it's more centered, all after the feedback I was given.

Poster Attempt 1

Here is the first version of my poster, I added the front cover of my digipak in the left hand corner so you can know what the poster is linked to. I also added social media and the iTunes logo at the bottom to show where you can get the song and find more information about the band. I added the date of which the album is released at the bottom middle. I added the logo of Warner Brothers at the bottom right of the logo. I also added ratings to the poster to show people what to expect and to make it look more like a realistic poster. I kept the font from the digipak and used it in the poster for both the band name and album name.

Digipak First Draft

This is my first draft of the digipak. I have decided to create a dark theme by keeping all of the colours throughout the pictures in the digipak dark. The front cover I have chosen is a puddle which I used to relate to my digipak design. I'm not too sure if I'll keep it because it doesn't really capture the image that I wanted to see. The back cover I feel okay with, I like how I have laid everything out with the picture of the band in the background. My left cover is the logo, however since I wanted everything to stay with a dark theme I decided that I would invert the whole image, making it black with white text. Then for the rest of the text used in the digipak I decided to make them all white so that it would link. My cover inside I think is fine with the lyrics going down it. The only part I disagree with at the moment is the disc. I am still trying to find a way to make it look similar to the one I did for my digipak design. My left cover is looking a bit plain, so I might also do something to that as well.

Digipak Draft Creation

This is the digipak creation stage, here you can see all parts of the digipak form when I started creating it. The images are laid out in a weird order but it starts from the second to right at the top going right. You can see the stages from where I began putting in images from our test shots along with some text which is usually seen in most normal digipaks.

Digipak plan

This is my digipak plan, there are seven sections to a digipak, the front cover, the back, the inside, the first disc, the bonus disc and a booklet. Here on my digipak, for the front cover I have decided to make it a puddle which shows a reflection of a guitar within it. The back of the digipak will have a picture of the band all holding their instruments with the track list going down the side. The booklet will be similar to the back with a picture of the band however this time they will be in a different location. My main disc and bonus disc will have dark blue ripples of water. The text will not be in the ripples on the first disk but will be for the bonus one. The back will feature a building which will show part of the location that we are in. There is also the spine which will have the name of the band on it and would usually have an album name.
