This is the fifth draft of the music video, here we made some more changes in cutting the video to make it seem more faster and smoother. We wanted the music video to become more clear in the narrative and we also want to fit in enough band parts. We still need to balance it out more so that the video is more clear and smoother.

The Pretender Music Video Draft 4

This is the fourth draft of the music video, here we have edited the clips that we filmed together. We went out and filmed some more narrative parts and completely reshot all of our band performance again, we adjusted to see if it was again. We still need to go and film our band parts again, because we need a lot more specific shot.

The pretender Music Video Draft 3

This is the third draft of the music video, here we have edited the clips that we filmed together. We went out and filmed some more narrative parts and added more of our band parts. We still need to go and film our band parts again, because we need a lot more specific shot. We also turned the music video into black and white as we thought it worked well with the theme of our video and the genre. It also links well with our posters and digipaks.

Second Draft Feedback Sheet

These are the feedback sheets from our class that we pitched to about our first music video draft. There are mix views about what people like throughout the pitch. People liked the positioning of the camera shots in the video, the narrative, performance. lip synching and the band shots. The parts that they want us to develop are we need to learn how to play the guitar, the zooming shot of the mask's eye needs to be improved and our shots are too long and the need to be shortened. 

Second Music Video Draft

This is the second draft of the music video, here we have edited the clips that we filmed together. We went out and filmed a narrative part and our band part some more as we thought that it would need an improvement as we only had one camera angle from it. 

Poster Final

Here is the final draft of my poster, I have moved the pictures at the bottom around to fit with the conventions of band posters.

Digipak Final

 

Here is the final version of my digipak, I changed the placing of all of the pictures. I added two discs instead of having a lyric book,  I also changed the font until I found one I felt comfortable with. I moved the logo to my front cover and found a good puddle shot to use as the back cover to put the text of. I also added effects to my discs by picking a random texture of the internet, I then messed around with the filter effects to change the colour of it so that it fit in with the rest of my digipak and genre. I reversed what I did to my main disc to the bonus one, so that they didn't look the same but still fit in with the genre. I used two different placed pictures of the band but edited them so that they both look dark and fit in. I also reused the puddle picture to put behind the discs instead of having it plain.
